Am I required to have a video visit with my provider?

Medication

In order to receive medication as part of your care plan, you need to complete a video visit with your psychiatric provider so that he or she can conduct a full evaluation. It’s also possible that your provider will want to talk to you from time to time during your treatment. If it would make you more comfortable, your provider is glad to turn their camera off during the conversation.

Therapy

Your therapist benefits from seeing your body language and facial expressions when you connect. If it would make you more comfortable, your therapist is glad to turn their camera off during the conversation.
